AHOSKIE, NC — Roanoke Cooperative is proud to announce that North Carolina State Senator Bobby Hanig, representing District 1, will serve as the keynote speaker at its 86th Annual Meeting and Member-Owner Celebration. The virtual event will take place on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 9:00 AM via Zoom.
With a theme of "Engaging Today, Connecting Tomorrow, Thriving Together," this year’s annual meeting promises to be an energizing experience for all member-owners. The Cooperative continues its commitment to making the meeting accessible to all by hosting it virtually, allowing participation from anywhere.
Senator Hanig, a strong advocate for rural communities and economic development, will deliver remarks that speak to the challenges and opportunities facing electric cooperatives and the member-owners they serve. His experience and leadership will bring an inspiring perspective to the meeting.
