Roanoke Cooperative Employees Lend a Hand for a Cleaner Community

Roanoke Cooperative employees were back at it again this morning, taking part in another successful roadside cleanup effort. With teamwork and a shared sense of pride in the community they serve, the group collected 20 bags of litter along local roadways.

The cleanup is part of Roanoke Cooperative’s ongoing commitment to giving back and keeping our community beautiful. Employees from across departments came together early in the morning—gloves on, bags in hand—to make a visible difference for neighbors and visitors alike.

“Today’s roadside cleanup is just another example of when we, at Roanoke, come together to care for our community—we leave more than a clean road; we leave a legacy of pride,” said Angella Dunston, Coordinator of Public Relations and Engagement. “Thanks to everyone who participated in today’s event.”

Roanoke Cooperative regularly participates in cleanup events like this one, reflecting the cooperative’s core values of cooperation, concern for community, and service. It’s another example of how member-owners and employees are working together to create a brighter, cleaner future for our community.
