Cynthia Vaughan, who has served District 9 in Northampton County since 2022, previously earned the New Director Certification from the NRECA in Arlington, Va. Beyond her role at Roanoke Cooperative, Vaughan is actively engaged in various community initiatives, including serving on the social committee at Sandy Run Baptist Church in Roxobel and presiding as the president of Roxobel Community Center. She also owns and operates Roxobel Mini Storage, showcasing her multifaceted involvement in the community.
A resident of Northampton County, Vaughan brings a wealth of experience from her 29-year tenure in the banking industry, serving in diverse capacities ranging from Branch Manager to Customer Service Representative. Currently holding the position of AVP/Community Banker at Southern Bank in Windsor, Vaughan continues to contribute her expertise to her community and the cooperative.
