Roanoke Cooperative is proud to congratulate Jordyn Powell of Gates County on being selected to attend the Cooperative All-Stars Basketball Camp this summer at North Carolina State University.
Jordyn, a rising seventh-grade student at Central Middle School, was chosen through a competitive application process that recognized her athletic ability, academic achievements, leadership, and community involvement. As part of the program, Roanoke Cooperative recently presented Jordyn with a basketball and a Cooperative swag bag to celebrate her accomplishment and wish her success at camp.
For Jordyn, basketball is more than just a sport. She began playing at the age of five and has remained dedicated to improving her skills while balancing academics and extracurricular activities. A member of the Beta Club, Principal's List, and AB Honor Roll, Jordyn is also active in AAU basketball, 4-H, tennis, church activities, and school leadership programs. Her passion for the game and commitment to personal growth made her an outstanding representative for Roanoke Cooperative.
During her week at NC State University's Wolfpack Women's Basketball Camp, Jordyn will have the opportunity to learn from experienced coaches, develop her basketball skills, and connect with other young athletes from across North Carolina.
Roanoke Cooperative is honored to support opportunities that help young people grow both on and off the court. We congratulate Jordyn on this achievement and look forward to seeing all she accomplishes in the future.
