What is Energy Saver NC? Energy Saver North Carolina is a groundbreaking initiative with more than $208 million in federally funded rebates to help income-eligible households make crucial energy-efficient upgrades. These rebates make it more affordable for homeowners to install cost- and energy-saving measures like:
✅ Heat pump for space heating/cooling – up to $8,000
✅Heat pump water heater – up to $1,750
✅ Electric load service center (panel upgrade) – up to $4,000
✅ Electric wiring – up to $2,000
✅ Insulation, air sealing, ventilation – up to $1,600
✅ Electric stove – up to $840
✅ Heat pump clothes dryer – up to $840
But the impact doesn’t stop there! This program is also designed to create new businesses, support over 2,300 jobs, and give a boost to local economies—all while improving air quality and working towards North Carolina’s goal of net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
